Machine Guide Class 3 (5, 7, 8 Series)

This is a continuation of the ongoing class presented by Maureen Naquin for new machine owners. The topic will be decorative stitching.

"Bee" Potholder Class with Phyllis Schledt

For fun in the kitchen sew a cute "Bee" potholder. Spring is coming and the bees will be buzzing soon enough! Use the potholder for the oven microwave or stove top. It's sew easy, functional and fun!

This class is for anyone who has taken Cherry's "Introduction To Ruler Work" class and would like to take it to the next level. No practice sandwiches this time but an actual quilt! You will be amazed how quickly and easily you can have a fabulous finish with rulers. You will be give instructions in advance on how to make a small runner needed for this class.

This class is for kids ages 8-13. Each month kids will create a project and learn basic sewing skills and use their creativity too! You will be instructed on how to make a stuffed "Fish" toy project. Fabric and supplies needed for the project are to be purchased at MY Sewing Shoppe and are not included in the class fee. You can stop by the store anytime before the day of class to purchase your supplies or arrive at 10:00 a.m. the morning of class to buy your supplies. A supply list will be available at the store.

Continuation of the series presented by Maureen Naquin. This class is for owners of B790 & B880 ONLY. You will learn how to do Directional Stitching using your BSR (Bernina stitch regulator).

The class will learn Madeira Hem technique. From the Madeira Hem technique you will learn to make a bonnet. This hem technique can be used on jackets, hemlines, sleeves, etc.

Susan Newsom will be your instructor for this class. Susan will instruct you on how to make the "Molly" dress from Children's Corner. Once you have registered for class, we will assist you in purchasing the needed supplies. We do request that you purchase your supplies in advance of class as not to cause any delays the day of class.

If you've taken "Beginning Smocking" this is the perfect follow up class for you to take. She will teach you how to complete your project. You will learn how to insert piping, apply bias strips without wrinkles and add buttons and buttonholes. Susan will also cover other construction problems you may have.
