Basic Hand Embroidery Class-Beginner



In this class you will be create a lovely hand embroidered tea towel using the basic hand embroidery skills including back, chain, lazy daisy, fly and running stitches along with French knots.  You will also learn how to begin and end your stitching.

Bring To Class:
-4" Susan Bates embroidery hoop
-Blue water soluble marking pen
-6"-12" ruler
-Mag Eyes(optional)
-Jeannie B's Book of Heirloom Embroidery

Requirements:
Join Belinda Jones on Saturday and learn how to hand embroider like a master. Belinda Jones began stitching at an early age, inspired by the adults in her life that were always busy with needle and thread. She has taken classes in hand sewing, heirloom sewing, quilting and garment construction. Belinda enjoys embroidery, heirloom sewing, and quilting. Her work has been published in Creative Needle Magazine, Sew Beautiful Magazine, and The Quilt Pattern Magazine. The class will be held from 10:30 am-1:30 pm. A kit (not included in class fee) will be available for purchase for this class.
