Tatting For 2
Each attendee will receive their own kit and the cost is $40 per person to attend.
This is an introductory class to shuttle tatting. Tatting dates back to the 1700's and was found throughout Europe. You will learn the basic "double stitch" which has to be mastered before working with patterns. Just bring plenty of patience and remember to just have fun while you learn something new!

Instructor Bio:
Christy Castille was inspired by her great grandmother's tatting shuttles and learned tatting at the age of nine. Many of her tatted items are inspired by vintage patterns. You can find Christy demonstrating at many folk life events or handmade shows. She proudly shares the history of tatting, teaches others how to shuttle tat, and encourages everyone to pass on their heritage to the next generation.
