Beginning Smocking Class with Susan Newsom
Class 1: Susan will help you select the pattern of your choice (bishop style), fabric, embroidery floss and a smocking plate design (basic geometric theme). You will receive one-on-one instructions to begin smocking on a sample insert/floss to practice your stitches first. Once you have accomplished this Susan will instruct you on cutting out your pattern/ fabric and preparing it for smocking.
Class 2: During this class you will work toward completing your project.
