Fundamentals of Quilting
This class is for someone who is new to quilting or a beginner looking to improve your skills. You will learn the importance of preparing our fabric, proper pressing techniques, how to safely use a rotary cutter and how to sew a scant 1/4" seam allowance.
WHAT TO BRING TO CLASS:
- Sewing machine in good working order
- Self healing at at least 12" x 18" or larger (limited availability in class)
- 4 - 6 Fat Quarters (any colors)
- Rotary cutter (with new blade)
- 8.5" x 12.5" ruler recommended (Creative Grid suggested)
- Thread
- Snips
