Tamarack Jacket

This class is so popular here at MSS and is still being featured on social media.  You can choose to make the jacket with or without a collar or choose to make a vest.  This is a 3-day course spread over 3 weeks.  The first class will be informative discussion of what/how you will make the garment.  In Class 2 you will trace and cut out your garment. Class 3 is centered on constructing your garment and finishing it with bias binding.  Roberta will guide you step by step through the process and you will complete the jacket/vest by the end of the course.

The jacket is a quilted jacket therefore the fabric must be quilted before class begins.  You can do the quilting yourself (Roberta will give you suggestions on how to do it yourself) or ask a longarm quilter to quilt it for you.  If choosing to have it quilted by a longarm quilter you need to make arrangements well in advance of class in order to have it in time for class as most longarm quilters are busy throughout the year.
