Beginning Sewing
Module 2
Trina Landry presents to you a modular approach to learn how to sew with an emphasis on garment fitting and sewing. Students need to be familiar with the operations of their machine. This series consists of four (maybe five if needed) individual sessions. Students will receive a 10% discount on supplies purchased at MSS.
Module #2: "How to Speak and Read Sewing"
For beginners reading a pattern can be quite intimidating. Trina will guide you through the information included in a pattern. Including choosing the proper fabric for the project, fabric properties, care of fabric, and the various types of interfacing and reasons to use them. Pattern samples will be provided by the instructor.
