Kid's Summer Sewing Camp
Registration has begun for our 2025 Kid's Summer Camp! Kid's Sewing Camp is for the beginner or sewing enthusiast aged 10 & up. Camp will be held M-TH June 16-19, 2025, from 9:30-12:30 or July 14-17,2025. The fee includes all class project supplies and snacks, but please inform us of any food allergies/restrictions. Cancellations must be made no less than 72 hours (3 business days) prior to camp otherwise you forfeit the camp fee minus $50(registration fee). We must have a minimum of 3 campers to hold the camp, and we reserve the right to cancel if minimum is not met.
Three options for sewing machines:
-camper may use a sewing machine provided My Sewing Shoppe upon request
-camper may purchase a sewing machine (special camp pricing will be available and provided upon request)
-camper may bring their own sewing machine (must have knowledge basic operation of machine, bring manual, power cord, foot control, machines accessories)
The first day of camp will be an introduction to sewing, sewing machine safety, how to cut a project, follow a guide sheet and basic sewing terms. Projects will include an apron and two quilts. We designed the camp to expose your camper to the creative world of sewing while building confidence and hopefully inspiring them to continue on their sewing journey!
PLEASE COMPLETE THE ACTIVITY CONSENT FORM AND RETURN IT TO US ON THE FIRST DAY OF CAMP!
