Bold & Beautiful Dresdens
Learn to tackle the Fence Line Quilt featuring lots of fabric choices for assorted fence, log cabins, and plain squares to create a background to showcase several sizes of Dresden plates and fans. The class will be two full day sessions held May 14th & June 18th. You must purchase the book (available at My Sewing Shoppe) needed for the class and get familiar with it before class begins. Reading instructions will be given at time of book purchase.
WHAT WILL BE COVERED IN SESSION 1: Fabric selection & assembly of background blocks.
Prior to Session 2, the Middle Section must be assembled and Top/Bottom Sections partially assembled. You will have 5 weeks to get this task completed before Session 2.
WHAT WILL BE COVERED IN SESSION 2: You will select fabrics for the Dresden Plates and make the templates and applique(s).

Sewing machine in good working order, foot control, power cord, manual
1/4’’ presser foot
75/11 Quilting Needle/75/11 Embroidery Needle
Basic sewing supplies (fabric scissors, snips, seam ripper)
Neutral sewing thread
Rotary cutter
Cutting mat
Lunch/snacks
