Jelly Roll Rug



Come join Becky Allemand for a day of fun and learn how to make a Jelly Roll Rug/Roll-Up Rug. This is an easy and fun class and requires very little sewing experience so just about anyone can do this! The pattern used for this rug is available at MY Sewing Shoppe. You will receive a 10% discount on all class supplies purchased at MY Sewing Shoppe.

WHAT TO BRING TO CLASS:
-Lunch
-Sewing machine in good working order (must be able to make at least a 5mm wide zigzag stitch; 5.5 mm w used in pattern)
-Basic sewing supplies (scissors, snips, pins, etc)
-Walking foot
-Wonder clips
-Batting Seam Tape
-Mary Ellen's Best Press
-Size 14-18 Jeans Needle
-1 Jelly Roll
-2 packages of Katahdin On-A-Roll 2.5" batting or you can cut your own using 1 1/4 yards of 100% cotton batting 96" wide (you'll need 17 strips)
-1 large spool of thread at least 1200 yards (may blend or contrast with project)
-4-5 prefilled bobbins
-Large container/basket to contain project while sewing
