Don't let that quilt top become another UFO! Learn to finish your quilts on your domestic sewing machine in this hands-on beginning free motion quilting class presented by Cherry Guidry. Cherry will cover machine set-up, using the right needles, threads, batting and sewing machine feet.
You will learn to stitch-out many fun and easy free-motion fillers while creating a book you'll be able to use time and time again.
Practice Quilt Sandwich Provided
What To Bring To Class:
-Lunch
-Sewing machine in good working condition with manual
-BERNINA Stitch Regulator foot (OPtional) or Foot #9, #15, #24, #26
-Walking Foot (Optional)
-Straight stitch throat plate
-Extra Filled Bobbins 2-3
-Five(5) 10" x 10" quilt sandwiches
-Contrasting Thread
-**Microtex needles 80/12
-Basic sewing supplies (snips, seam ripper, pins, etc.)
-Fine tip permanent pen (black Sharpie)
-Pencil
-Quilting Gloves
-**Water soluble transfer pen
OPTIONAL BUT HIGHLY RECOMMENDED:
-Sew Steady Extension Table (FYI: this item is custom made per your machine and must be ordered in advance, allow 3 weeks)
