Felt can be a verb or a noun.  To felt means in most basic sense to mat together.  In this case we will be creating what is called "felt" by the dry needle or hand felted method.  The project will be a trivet or hot pad using commercial felt and adding details using the needle felting method.  Details can be made free hand or by using stencils.
