Survival Sewing 101
Basic wardrobe fixes are skills that can be mastered with proper guidance. You will be instructed on how to repair/replace a broken zipper, how to sew on buttons, hemming a garment and other basic sewing skills. If you have items that need repair please bring them with you to class. If not, sample swatches will be provided.
WHAT TO BRING TO CLASS:
-Sewing machine in working order (if you need a loaner please request in advance)
-Any garment in need of repair or samples will be provided
-Basic sewing kit (fabric shears, snips, seam ripper, hem gauge, straight pins, hand sewing needles. marking pencil/tailor's chalk, tape measure, buttons, hook and eyes, zipper)
-Snacks
