Simple Edging Workshop -Shuttle Tatting
Christy will cover skills such as how to read a pattern & diagram, adding thread and weaving in ends. You will tat a simple edging that can be used in heirloom clothing.

Requirements:
Must know how to do shuttle tatting and have mastered the double stitch (shuttle tatting) Maximum student is 6 with a minimum of 2.

Instructor Bio:
Christy Castille was inspired by her great grandmother's tatting shuttles and learned tatting at the age of nine. Many of her tatted items are inspired by vintage patterns. You can find Christy demonstrating at many folk life events or handmade shows. She proudly shares the history of tatting, teaches others how to shuttle tat, and encourages everyone to pass on their heritage to the next generation.
